There are parties great and small. There are invite-only events. There are public events. There are events no one wants to attend. There are events where you upset the local fire marshal for going over capacity (regardless of your best effort to prevent that). Then there’s mini golf at Robert Morris University’s Island Sports Center. Who can argue that mini golf is one of the great pastimes of our generation? A complete platform for the golf-challenged people (of which I am included in), colorful challenges, an abundance of waterfalls and streams around the course, and something that’s over after about 40 minutes (preventing severe sunburn for red heads). There are few who do this better than the people at Robert Morris.
We really want to make sure we say thank you to Dave Hanson, the RMU golf staff, and RMU’s catering department (especially Deanna). It was a marvelous event from start to finish. Also a quick shout out to God, who helped keep the rain at bay against the prognostications of KDKA and the Weather Channel. It was a wonderful time for all, and we’re glad to have been a part of it.
